About 3 and a half hours away from Dakar, the Siné-Saloum Delta is a river that flows into the Atlantic ocean and is filled with picturesque mangrove swamps, dunes, and lagoons. Part of it has been named a UNESCO world heritage, and along with it is a national park. If you ever find yourself in Senegal, I highly recommend a visit to the region as it’s the most natural and peaceful I’ve experienced in the country.
